Teri Bloom is an award winning photojournalist who has unobtrusively documented the joys of getting Bar/Bat Mitzvahed since 1987. Originally a newspaper photographer, she works quickly and efficiently to tell the story of this special day.
Her approach is friendly, low key and flexible. Supplemental room lighting is often used in darker locations so that the photographs are well lit. To assure that coverage is narrative and thorough, she works with the family to assure that all details are planned for in advance and that no picture is forgotten.
Hourly rates are available for smaller parties. Formal packages with the option of getting an album range between $2,800-5,000, depending upon location, date, number of guests etc.
Publications: Teri is mentioned as a photographer "esteemed by both (her) peers and clients" in Joan Hamburg's popular book, "City Weddings". Her editorial photographs have been featured in New York Bride, Wedding Pages NYC, and Manhattan Bride.
